summer cake

I don't like to start my blog on how was it.  I'm not a good writer to begin with, but I am writing according to my palate, what was the taste or why i post a recipe.

My first ever recipe to share with you is a cake, actually I'm not a baker i just like the smell of desserts. I think in baking you must be careful on the ingredients it should be measured it is really different in cooking a salty food you can use your imagination in many ways but in baking its limited. Hope you'll enjoy this!.

Ingredients:
1 cup of all purpose flour
 1 tbsp of baking powder
1/4+ 1/4 cup of sugar
 6 egg whites6 egg yolks
 1 can of evaporated milk
 1 can of condensed milk
1 cup of cream + 1tbsp for decor
 2 tsp of vanilla essence

 Procedure:

Base Cake: In a seperate bowl, mix 1/4 cup of sugar with 6 egg whites, until peaks form. In another bowl, beat 6 egg yolks with 1/4 cup of sugar.

1 cup of all purpose flour, 1 tbsp of baking powder, mix.
Combine this by portion with the mixture.

Place in a buttered baking dish

for 20 mins (or until a toothpick comes out clean) in a 180 degrees celcius oven.

Bathing Liquid: Combine 1 can of evaporated milk, 1 can of condensed milk, 1 cup of cream, 2 tsp of vanilla essence

 Mix well.

Make holes in the cool turned over base cake

and bathe with this liquid, overnight or for a minimum of 3 hours.

cover it with thin foil or cling wrapper

top it with some whipping cream, just to balance the sweetness of the bathing liquid.

Enjoy!
